Our Mission
Who We Are
Welcome to Sollie B. Norwood Lodge #699, the first Masonic Lodge established on a college campus in 1975. Founded by the esteemed Sollie B. Norwood and under the guidance of the late Grand Master H.M. Thompson, our lodge has a rich history of engaging with Jackson State University students. With over 90% of our members being former students, we take pride in our partnership with JS to host a significant voter registration drive. We believe in individuals exercising their fundamental right to continue the legacy of our Masonic Family's commitment to civic participation.
